Weaving the textile technology of Bishu

Weaving the Textile Technology of Bishu

Bishu is recognized alongside Biella in Italy and Huddersfield in the UK as one of the world's three major wool textile production areas. Our craftsmanship is supported by the pure "extra-soft water" of the Kiso River. This impurity-free water carries dyes deep into the core of the fibers, resulting in deep, vibrant colors. This blessed water, combined with weaving techniques refined over 90 years, creates pieces that are supported by top brands both in Japan and overseas.
